A Word From Our Founder

Hello! My name is Marlene Ludwig. I am the founder and president of Senior Tech Initiative. Currently living in Texas, I am far from my friends and relatives around the world. Because of these geographical distances, technology is my lifeline to staying connected with my loved ones. However, not everyone has the opportunity to access and utilize modern technology. For example, my grandmother, who is in her 80s and living alone in a rural area, never had the chance to utilize technology to stay connected with me living in another continent. That is why I started Senior Tech Initiative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that aims to bridge the digital divide for senior citizens. We aim to empower seniors to embrace technology, enabling them to stay connected with loved ones and explore the opportunities of the modern digital world. I’m passionate about using my love for technology to make a meaningful impact in my community. Through Senior Tech Initiative, we’re helping seniors navigate the digital landscape with confidence and joy.
